Upgrading Your Subscription
Upgrading gives you access to more features and higher limits for storing your will information.
How to Upgrade:
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Find the plan you want and click 'Upgrade to [Plan Name]'
- Review the plan details and pricing
- Click 'Continue' to proceed to PayPal
- Complete payment and return to see confirmation
What Happens After Upgrade:
Downgrading Your Subscription
Downgrading moves you to a plan with lower limits. This might be useful if you don't need as many features or want to reduce costs.
How to Downgrade:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click 'Downgrade to [Plan Name]' for your desired lower tier
- Review the comparison between your current plan and new plan
- If over limits, remove excess items (the system will tell you what to remove)
- Click 'Confirm Downgrade' once you're within limits

Cancelling Your Subscription
Cancelling your subscription downgrades you to the free Bronze plan. Just like downgrading, the system checks if your usage fits within Bronze plan limits.
How to Cancel:
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click 'Cancel Subscription'
- Review what happens when you cancel (downgrade to Bronze)
- If over Bronze limits, remove excess items first
- Click 'Yes, Cancel Plan' to confirm
What Happens
1. Overview
We strive to ensure our customers are fully satisfied with our products and services. If you choose to cancel a subscription or service before the end of the billing period, you may be eligible for a pro rata refund in accordance with the terms below.
2. Eligibility for Pro Rata Refunds
A pro rata refund may be granted when:
- A prepaid subscription or service is canceled before its expiration date
- The subscriber has unused time or unused service value remaining
- The cancellation falls within any applicable minimum usage or notice requirements set forth in the service agreement
3. Calculation Method
Pro rata refunds are calculated based on the unused portion of your subscription or service. The calculation is as follows:
Any discounts or promotional credits applied at the time of purchase will be factored into the calculation.
4. Non-Refundable Items
Pro rata refunds do not apply to:
- One-time fees (e.g., setup fees, activation fees)
- Consumable or delivered goods
- Services that have already been fully rendered
- Promotional, trial, or discounted plans that specify "no refunds"
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and issued to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a pro rata refund, please contact our support team at info@theinternationalwillregistry.com with the following information:
- Name
- Account or order number
- Reason for cancellation
- Date you would like the cancellation to take effect
7. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify or update this Pro Rata Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately unless stated otherwise.
