Authorised Representatives
Learn how to add and manage Authorised Representatives who will have access to your will details and can act on your behalf when needed.
Authorised Representatives are trusted individuals you designate to access your will information. They can view your will document locations and supporting files to fulfill your final wishes. They cannot see your Emergency Contacts or modify any of your wills or account settings.
Representatives can:
- View all your registered will document locations
- Access uploaded will documents and supporting files
- Download documents for execution purposes
- View when documents were last updated
Add an Authorised Representative
Adding a representative is simple. They'll receive an email invitation and can create an account to accept their role.
How to Add:
- Go to Dashboard → Representatives
- Click Add Representative
- Enter their full name and email address
- Click Send Invitation
What Happens Next?
Manage Invitations
You can track invitation status and resend invitations if needed. Representatives appear in your dashboard with their current status.
Invitation Statuses:
Pending
Invitation sent, waiting for representative to accept
Active
Representative accepted and has access to your will
Expired
Invitation expired after 7 days without acceptance
Resend Invitations
Remove an Authorised Representative
If you need to revoke someone's access to your will information, you can remove them at any time from your dashboard. They will not be notified if you removed them.
How to Remove:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Representatives
- Click the Remove button next to their name
- Confirm the removal
Important
The number of Authorised Representatives you can add depends on your subscription plan:
Free Plan (Bronze)
Up to 1 Authorised Representative
Silver Plan
Up to 3 Authorised Representatives
Gold Plan
Up to 10 Authorised Representatives
- Choose trusted individuals - Only add people you trust completely with your estate information
- Keep information current - Update or remove representatives if your relationships change
- Inform representatives - Let them know about their role and responsibilities
- Verify email addresses - Double-check email addresses to ensure invitations reach the right person
- Consider multiple representatives - Having backup representatives ensures your will can be accessed if needed
